Envisioned to be eco-friendly, Bellakvarter's blueprint design mitigates pollution and waste. In the summer of 2019, plans were announced for central wind power to serve as the entire neighborhood’s primary energy source. The wind turbines are expected to generate a whopping 1.2 Million Kilo Watts of power per year– this will effectively reduce the European city´s reliance on power plants in a drastic manner, furthering strategic sustainability objectives.
