In a culture driven by trend cycles and digital distractions, Parisian high jewelry house Jatual presents something deeper: remembrance. Their latest masterpiece, Pobeda, is a tribute to memory, resilience, and the enduring spirit of humanity.

Named after the Russian word for "victory," Pobeda isn’t a jewel designed to impress; it’s a statement meant to outlast generations. Created in collaboration with Israeli partners, the piece marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. But this is no retrospective of pain. It is a powerful declaration of survival, shared strength, and global remembrance.

The centerpiece is an extraordinarily rare 23.4-carat Fancy Vivid Red diamond, square-cut and officially named Red Square. Red diamonds of this caliber are almost mythical in the gem world. Surrounding it are 52.86 carats of trillion-cut diamonds and 80.95 carats of princess cuts, each Swiss certified, D-F in color and VVS in clarity. Accents of 70 natural rubies flicker across the setting like embers, all set in 178 grams of 18k white gold. A bold twist in the design: a 12.32-carat pentagon-cut diamond, intentionally asymmetric, brings visual tension and intrigue.

The symbolism is layered and deliberate. Fire meets ice. Rigor meets grace. Strength meets sacrifice. And though nothing in its composition screams history, the memory is embedded in every detail.

"No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten."

Those words resonate throughout Pobeda’s narrative. From the name Red Square to the militaristic geometry softened by organic detailing, every aspect echoes the complexity of loss and the heroism of recovery. This piece honors human lives lost, but also the countless people across many nations who suffered and rose again.

Even its presentation carries meaning. The necklace arrives in a custom case crafted by Italian artisans using the legendary Stradivarius varnish technique, an age-old craft that lends the wood a signature glassy finish. The result is not merely packaging, but a ceremonial vessel.

Jatual’s creative director, Aurélien Bir, is no ordinary jeweler. A Sorbonne-educated artist, he has designed iconic pieces for brands like Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and more. He blends classical technique with modern symbolism, steering Jatual into a space that’s not just luxurious, but meaningful.

Pobeda is also part of a larger story. It leads a trilogy that will include a ring and bracelet, both echoing the same geometry and red-diamond signature. The ring features a 12-carat red diamond, reinforcing the visual language of strength and remembrance.

What further sets Jatual apart is its commitment to ethical excellence. The house works exclusively with Eco Diamonds - ethically sourced, environmentally considered, and selected with precision. The gemologist's role in sourcing by quality and color is not an afterthought; it’s a pillar.

At its core, Pobeda is not about extravagance. It is about legacy, about the light we carry forward. The Victory Necklace - a symbol of remembrance of the heroism of the nations.
