Brad Pitt Reunites with Quentin Tarantino for 'The Critic's Tale'

Brad Pitt is set to collaborate once again with Quentin Tarantino in the director's swan song, 'The Critic's Tale'. The film, which is currently shrouded in mystery, will see Pitt potentially stepping into the role of the lead character, as per reports from Deadline. This project marks the third collaboration between Pitt and Tarantino, following their successful ventures in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'—which earned Pitt an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor—and 'Inglourious Basterds'. 'The Critic's Tale' is anticipated to be released in 2025.

Set against the backdrop of 1977 California, 'The Critic's Tale' draws inspiration from an obscure figure who penned movie reviews for an adult magazine. Tarantino, in a conversation with Deadline, revealed that the narrative is rooted in his own teenage experiences of managing adult magazines in a vending machine. Among the seedy publications, he found solace in one that featured captivating movie critiques, sparking the idea for his final cinematic endeavor.
