Louis Vuitton has launched a five-story retail space on Fifth Avenue, opening its doors as a temporary replacement while its flagship undergoes a three-year renovation. The new location offers immersive design elements, including trunk installations by architect Shohei Shigematsu and displays of the maison's signature bags.
The store also marks the U.S. debut of Le Café Louis Vuitton and Chocolat Maxime Frédéric, operated in partnership with Starr restaurant group. Complete with a library-inspired café, VIP suites, and NYC-themed collectibles, the store opens to the public on November 15, with an exclusive event for press and guests scheduled the evening prior.
